I R G E approaches the understanding and design of
architecture through the lens of time. Buildings change: they age, are converted, ex-tended, and demolished. Nevertheless, they are still often conceived and presented
as fixed, immovable structures—complete objects.
This discrepancy between the actual dynamics of architecture and its static conception is the focus of our work. We explore and communicate architecture as an ongoing process: a continuous flow of transformations and an incomplete project — thinking space through time, and time through space.
